Joanne Balken, wife of Pastor Richard Balken, has gone to her eternal reward. The Balkens were a great team, pastoring the Lighthouse Christian Church in Fond du Lac, WI for over 40 years.  We were friends during the decades we pastored close by in Madison, WI.  They led the church in two relocations and several building programs, established a great Christian Day Care and Christian School.  Her funeral service will be this Sunday June 22: visitation 1-4 p.m. and service at 4 p.m. at the Lighthouse Christian Church, 401 South National Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI.
