Pastor David Riveness, one of the great pastors of the FCA passed away early Monday morning at eighty years of age. David had pastored in several churches throughout the Midwest and East Coast of the USA and in Canada.  He was the oldest son of Pastor John Riveness who had pastored Karlstad Gospel Tabernacle for many years. David and his wife had moved back to his family’s home in Karlstad after years of ministry where he had been active in ministry in helping churches throughout the area.
